How do I sign up my child for football or cheer/dance?
The first step is to locate our closest association. A list of local associations can be found under the about tab. You can contact the association for more information about their programs, paperwork requirements, deadlines, and registration fees.
What are the TCFC football age and weight divisions?
There are 5 football divisions: 6-U (5 & 6 yr. olds), 8-U (7 & 8 yr. olds), 10-U (9 & 10 yr. olds), 12U (11 & 12 yr. olds), and 14-U (13 & 14 yr. olds). In all divisions, there are no minimum or maximum weight restrictions.
What are the TCFC cheer and dance divisions?
There are 7 cheer and dance divisions: Junior Tiny Mite (3,4 yr. old), Tiny Mite (5,6,7 yr. olds), Mitey-Mite (7,8,9 yr. olds), Jr. Pee Wee (8,9,10, 11 yr. olds), Pee Wee (9,10,11,12 yr. olds), Jr.Varsity (10,11,12,13 yr. olds), Varsity (12,13,14,15,16 yr. olds).
What are the academic requirements for participation?
Proof of satisfactory progress in school is required. A 2.0/70% or the equivalent shall be the minimum grade point average acceptable to participate. Those who do not meet this requirement, or home-schooled students can still play if they follow the alternative eligibility process which is monitored by scholastic progress reports.
Are tryouts allowed in Pop Warner?
In Pop Warner, there are no tryouts or cutting of players.
How do I become a coach or volunteer?
Volunteers are the most important part of keeping all of our Pop Warner organizations running smoothly. Contact your local association to find out the many ways you can volunteer your time.
